JAR Architecture

Our Services

Our ethos is founded on strong principles, not only to produce desirable living and work spaces, but to deliver these spaces on budget and on time.

As Architects we are passionate about architectural design and have the experience and knowledge to create inspirational architecture to its fullest extent within the detailed brief as established by the client.

To get the project underway we will organise an initial meeting, this can be at any time or place to suit the clients busy schedule, we fully appreciate that clients have daily work/family commitments. Depending on the complexity, this meeting would establish the project brief, budget and time for completing the works.

Once the project scope has been defined we will undertake a site survey (if required) and produce drawings showing existing site/house conditions. From these drawings we would produce a sketch scheme for client approval; there may be several options dependant on cost and time. This scheme would be approved by the client before proceeding with planning and building regulation approval as required.

Upon the approval of all planning and building regulation requirements detailed construction drawings can be produced. Attention to detail cannot be emphasized enough; it is what separates a set of “design drawings” from a well-executed and thought through design process. From this detailed set of drawings and specification the contractor has been given every opportunity to complete the project as intended.

We work on a number of architectural projects for residential and commercial projects, working on Conversions, Renovations, Restorations, loft extensions and new build luxury homes.
