Amelia Maddox // Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Amelia joined JAR in September 2022 as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, having studied her BArch. at the University of Nottingham, graduating with a first-class degree in 2020. Since working in practice, Amelia has developed an interest in retrofitting and environmental design, enjoying the task of improving the sustainability and environmental impact of schemes. Amelia is currently studying her Masters in Sustainable Architecture at the Centre for Alternative Technology.  She has been developing the necessary skills to design and construct buildings that are functional and sustainable as well as aesthetically pleasing.  Outside of work, Amelia enjoys going to concerts and keeping active through running and hiking.
