Delivering a Clubhouse and Spa to accompany Two Doubles Padel Courts

Four people playing a game of doubles padel in one of two timber-clad padel courts next to a contemporary clubhouse and spa
Padel has risen to prominence in the UK over the past few years, so it's an exciting prospect to have the opportunity to design something that distinguishes itself from usual fair by leaning into the aesthetics of the contemporary design of the clubhouse which services it.

Bringing Contemporary Living to a Cheshire Cottage

Like us, you may have noticed the rising popularity of padel in the past couple of years. We've been lucky enough to be engaged with designing a scheme in Abergele containing two doubles courts plus a clubhouse complete with a bar and rejuvenation spa. The design blends the vernacular architectural palette of North Wales with some aesthetic sensibilities of a Scandinavian spa. It's a relatively new phenomenon in the UK, so we're extremely fortunate to be able to try our hand at bringing this scheme to scite.

JAR Architecture are always looking to take on more commercial and community based projects, so please feel free to get in touch if you have a scheme that you'd like us to look at.
