Dinas Caravan Park

JAR were engaged to design a new pool building which would incorporate a new gym, toilets and storage and facility areas.  The park is located on the wind-swept beach of Dinas Dinlle on the Llyn Peninsula.  The client wanted a more contemporary and modern looking facility that matched the parks branding and image.  Inspired by the rugged beauty of the landscape, we have incorporated elements of stone cladding to seamlessly integrate the buildings with the environment. The use of stone not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also helps with durability.

In addition to stone cladding, our design features extensive use of glass, allowing for breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding scenery. Large windows and glass facades flood the interiors with natural light, creating a sense of openness and connection to the outdoors.

The building is equipped with state-of-the-art solar panels, harnessing the abundant energy of the sun to power the facilities. By reducing reliance on traditional energy sources, the park in minimizing their carbon footprint but also contributing to a cleaner, greener future for the park.
